Meet Your choir Directors

We are thrilled to co-direct the choirs at Mount Si High School!

Rebecca Woodbury

Choir Director

Ms. Woodbury joined the music department at Mount Si in 2019, after teaching for three years at Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, WA. She holds a BM in Voice Performance from Arizona State University and a MA in Music Education from the University of Washington. She has conducted with the Seattle Girl Choir and the Seattle Opera's Youth Opera Project, and has sung professionally with Solis Camerata in Phoenix, AZ, Vox16 in Seattle, WA, and Choral Arts in Seattle, WA.  Her favorite role she has ever performed onstage was Cosette in Les Miserables, and her favorite opera she's ever performed in is The Magic Flute.

When she's not working, Ms. Woodbury likes to travel to new places (she's been to 31 countries so far!), get in a good workout at the gym, and have deep conversations with friends.

Haley Isaacs

Choir Director

Haley Isaacs has been a choir director at Mount Si High School since 2013. Before that, Haley taught band and choir at Chief Kanim Middle School, 2008-2011. Mrs. Isaacs received her Bachelor of Art & Bachelor of Music degrees in Music Education from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!), and her Master of Music in Music Education from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA (Go Owls!).

Haley is currently serving as the Women's R&R Chair for the WA-ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) Board, as well as serving as our WMEA (Washington Music Educator Association) Eastshore Region President. Mrs. Isaacs is also a National Board Certified Teacher.

In her spare time, Mrs. Isaacs enjoys spending time with her husband and two energetic and fun children, as well as their sweet pup Oskar. On a day where she isn't working, you can find Mrs. Isaacs sipping a chai tea latte, reading a good book, or going for a long walk or run.
